The Coastal Carolina Military Officers Association supports Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs at seven area high schools. The Chapter awards the MOAA Medal and a framed certificate to an outstanding rising senior cadet every year.

Established by US Code, the purpose of JROTC is "to instill in students in United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, and personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment".

The program host high schools include; New Bern, Havelock, Pamlico County, West Carteret, West Craven, Northside, and Jones Senior.
