Chapter Scholarships for School Term 2012-2013
Coastal Carolina Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America Scholarship applications for the school term 2011-2012 are now being accepted. The Chapter normally presents up to five $1,000 scholarships to qualifying students each school term. Scholarship applications are due no later than April 5, 2012.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant must be a dependent of an active duty military member who is permanently assigned to a military organization within Craven, Carteret, Jones, or Pamlico County; or, be a dependent of a retired service member who resides in one of the above counties. Deployed military personnel must be permanently assigned to a military organization within the above four county area.
An applicant must complete the 12th grade, receive a diploma and be accepted by a four year college / university; or be currently enrolled at a four college / university; or be enrolled in his / her first or second year at a community college with the declared intent to transfer to a four college/university. Applicants may attend any accredited college, university, or community college in or out of state.

Coastal Carolina Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholars for School Term 2011-2012

On 22 April 2010, the Chapter Scholarship Committee chaired by Col Mike Kennedy along with CAPT Marie Senzig, Maj Bill Culler, Maj Dan Walczak and Capt Jim Dargan met and selected the following five MOAA scholars;
