CCMOAA is an Independent, Nonprofit, and Politically Non-partisan Organization
Formed in 1974, we are 73 retired officers and 5 surviving spouses from all services representing the armed forces along the beautiful Neuse and Trent River basins in northeastern North Carolina.
While we support MOAA National's goals, as an affiliate our primary focus is serving the needs of military members, veterans and their families in the counties of Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Green, Jones, Lenoir, Pamlico, and Pit Counties.
Within our counties we are also involved with our active-duty military serving at: MCAS Cherry Point and New River, Camp LeJeune, USCG Station Ft. Macon, and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. We are also lucky to have several High School JROTCs along with East Carolina University's Army and Air Force ROTC programs.
