Coastal Carolina Chapter of MOAA (CCMOAA)
Our Mission
MOAA is the nation's largest and most influential association of military officers. Our Chapter along with MOAA is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization. As a chapter, we are directly reflective of the national organization's mission which is:
"To preserve and protect earned benefits for our uniformed services, veterans, their families, and surviving spouses", through:
We actively advocate for the legislative goals listed in MOAA's Legislative Action Center along with those NC State issues that directly affect veterans, their families, retirees, and surviving spouses.
Chartered on 21 November 1974, CCMOAA is one of 14 Chapters of the North Carolina State Council of Chapters.
The Coastal Carolina Chapter serves Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Pamlico, Pitt, and Wayne counties. Our chapter includes officers from every branch of service (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, USPHS, and National Guard) both active duty and reserve officers, along with retired officers and their families.
Our highest priority is providing accurate and focused information and services to Eastern North Carolina's active duty and veteran service members in addition to, government and local service organizations.
