Promote the purposes and objectives of the Military Officers Association of America.
Foster comradeship among our members by providing interesting, enriching, and informative events and activities.
Support veterans, especially those veterans in need, and team with the Veterans' Council of Craven County and other veterans' service and local organizations with whom we have common interests.
Provide services for members, their dependents, and survivors in time of need.
Incorporate Surviving Spouses in all aspects of chapter management.
Educate chapter members about personal affairs and actions to take before and after personal loss.
Serve the community by actively supporting area Veterans activities such as: Toys-for-Tots, the State Veterans Home in Kinston, Veterans Council of Craven County, the Craven County Veterans Stand Down.
Dues and charitable donations support our fourteen high school JROTC units, and two college ROTC programs thru awarding leadership medals and certificates to deserving cadets.
The awarding of five $1000 scholarships to deserving students, whose parents are either on active duty or are retired.
Recognize outstanding individual performance and leadership with both local and national awards
